Vehicle Collision in Johnson County Injures 2 Drivers

A 58-year-old Warrensburg woman suffered moderate injuries in a Johnson County collision Thursday night.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident around 8:00, on MO-58, just east of Highway O.

According to the report, a westbound 2014 Chevrolet Equinox crossed the center line of the roadway, and struck a 2014 ford Escape, head-on.

The driver of the Chevy, 26-year-old Tyler M. Rapp, of Blue Springs, suffered serious injuries in the accident. He was taken to St. Luke's Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Ford, Tammera S. Carlye, of Warrensburg, suffered moderate injuries. She was taken to Research Main Hospital for treatment.

The online crash report states that both vehicles were totaled.
