A Warrensburg man was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred in Johnson County Sunday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2003 Chevy driven by 24-year-old Billy G. Clark of Warrensburg, was on US 50 at NW 1421 Road at 4:40 p.m. Sunday, when the vehicle traveled off the roadway, struck a sign and became airborne. The vehicle then overturned and landed on its top.

Clark suffered minor injuries and refused treatment at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, according to the report.

The Chevy was totaled.

Clark was later arrested by the Patrol at 5:13 p.m. and charged with possession of methamphetamine and marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Johnson County Jail, where he was booked and released.
