Warrensburg Man Injured in Weekend Wreck

An 80-year old Warrensburg man was injured Saturday morning a two-vehicle wreck in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at 10:45, on Route Y at SE 251 Road.

According to the online crash report, a 2006 Kenworth was westbound on Route Y when a 1991 Dodge van failed to yield, causing the vehicles to strike.

The driver of the Dodge, 80-year old James M. Singleton, of Warrensburg, suffered moderate injuries. Singleton was taken to Centerpoint hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Kenworth, 39-year old Darrin E. Trobough, of Warrensburg, was reportedly uninjured.

Both vehicle were totaled and towed.
