The University of Central Missouri issued a Public Safety Crime Alert about a possible armed robbery and carjacking near campus.

The University's crime alert says Warrensburg Police are investigating the possible armed robbery and carjacking in the 300 block of West Market Street.

UCM's crime alert says the suspect is a white male wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants and fled the scene in a grey Ford Escape with Missouri Licence Plate number EB4VC3.

Anyone with information that may be helpful in this case is asked to contact the University of Central Missouri Police Department at 660-543-4123, or in person at 306 Broad Street. Tips and information can be submitted here anonymously.
