Warrensburg Police Reports for October 21, 2024
AUTHOR'S NOTE: The Warrensburg Police Department issues their reports to the press once weekly. These reports are for every incident submitted from September 22nd through September 29th, 2024. The reports were submitted to KSIS on October 18th, 2024.
On 09/23/2024 at 0217 hours, Officers were dispatched to a gas station at 303 North Maguire Street. An employee reported that an unknown male subject stole a bottle of alcohol sometime between 0000 and 0200 hours on 09/23/2024. Investigation ongoing.
On 09/23/24 at 0845 hours, Officers were dispatched to 328 E Young Street in
reference to a theft. Officers spoke with staff members who stated that a known male
subject came into the store and stole an item. Charles Dallion Stephens, 35, was later
located and arrested for Stealing. Stephens was transported to the Warrensburg
Police Department, processed and released.
On 9/23/2024, at approximately 1134 hours, Brandon Figg, the Warrensburg Middle School Assistant Principal, reported a known juvenile made threats to harm his parents, himself, and other students. The juvenile's parent was contacted, and the incident was investigated . A juvenile referral will be completed.
On 9/23/24 at approximately 2049 hours, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a black Jeep in the 600 block of Grover Street. Tucker Andrew Smidt, 21, was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated. He was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and placed on a 96 hour hold.
On 09/24/2024 at 0020 hours, Officers were dispatched to 325 Franklin Street in
reference to a property damage report. Stephanie Howell reported that a known male subject ripped open her couch and tore an outlet cover out of the wall. The male subject then left prior to Officer arrival. Howell later called in and stated she did not want to pursue charges.
On 09/24/24 at approximately 1023 hours, Officers took a report of a theft past occurred by phone, reported by Jack Younger. Younger reported that an unknown subject had stolen items from his residence in the 300 block of East Market between 09/24/22 to 09/23/24. Investigation ongoing.
On 09/24/2024 at approximately 1323 hours, Officers were dispatched to a sporting goods store at 328 East Young. A employee, reported that an unknown female subject stole a pair of $130.00 Jordan shoes from the store and left in a dark color truck. The investigation is ongoing.
On 09/24/24 at approximately 1321 hours, Officers were dispatched to 102 South Holden Street in reference to a warrant service. Upon arrival Officers were met by a female subject who turned herself in for an active warrant for Failure to Appear on original charges of Trespassing in the 1st Degree through Jackson County. Amber Michelle Eicholz, 36, was later released after posting $100 bond.
On 09/24/24 at 1313 hours, Officers were dispatched to Probation and Parole Office at 505 N Ridgeview Drive in reference to a known male subject with an active warrant from Bates County on original charges of felony Driving While Intoxicated (Persistent Offender). Owen James Raymond, 44, was placed under arrested and placed in the Johnson County Jail pending a bond of $4500 cash or surety.
On 09/24/2024 at approximately 2039 hours, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a silver Ford Focus in the 300 block of Jackson Street. The driver was arrested for driving while suspended. Wijae Wichen Brown, 48, was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, booked, and released with citations.
On 9/25/2024 at approximately 0751hrs, I conducted a traffic stop on a black
Chevrolet Traverse in the 800 block of E Gay Street. Kylei Elizabeth Peacock, 38, was
arrested for warrants from Lafayette County on original charges of Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Maintaining Financial Responsibility. She was extradited to Higginsville PD. Peacock posted a $400 cash bond.
On 09/25/2024 at 0950 hours, Officers were approached by students at the Warrensburg High School, 1411 S Ridgeview Drive, who told Officers about a
Instagram account containing child pornography. The investigation is ongoing.
On 9/24/24 at approximately 1340 hours, A known male subject appeared at
the Warrensburg Municipal Court at 200 South Holden Street for an unrelated court
business who was known to have an active Johnson County warrant. The
male was detained, the warrant was confirmed on charges of Failure to Obey A Lawful Order and Obstructing the Process. Michael J. Brumble, 22, was placed
under arrest and transported to the Johnson County Jail in lieu of bond.
On 09/25/2024 at approximately 1836 hours, Officers responded to the Warrensburg Police Department at 102 S. Holden Street in regards to a female subject turning herself in on a WPD warrant on charges of Expired Plates, Driving While Suspended, and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Maintaining Financial Responsibility. The warrant was confirmed and Jennifer Marie Murrow, 40, was arrested, booked, and released on bond with a new court date.
On 9/6/2024 at 0824 hours, Edward Peterson with a garage at 1309 South Maguire Street reported that at approximately 0432 hours, an unknown male subject trespassed through two vehicles belonging to customers. The Vehicles owners were unsure about wanting to press charges for trespass of motor vehicle at this time. This incident is under investigation.
On 9/26/2024 at 1006 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of East North Street in reference to a missing person. On 9/26/2024 at 1559 hours, the male subject was located in a Higginsville at a hotel.
On 9/26/2024 at 1321 hours, Employees of a general store at 1040 South Maguire Street reported that a known female subject was in the store who had previously been trespassed. Officers arrived one scene and arrested the female subject for Trespassing and Shoplifting. Iquetta Bernice Gaines, 30, was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released for trespassing and shoplifting.
On 9/26/2024 at approximately 1403 hours, I was dispatched to a gas station at 303 North Maguire Street in reference to shoplifting. An employee reported that an unknown female subject had just shoplifted a pizza totaling $18.02. Investigation ongoing.
On 9/26/2024 at 1408 hours, Zach Redwine reported that in the 800 block of Zoll Street one of his license plates from his vehicle was stolen. The theft occurred sometime between 9/23/2024 at 1700 hours and 9/24/2024 at 0900 hours. Investigation ongoing.
On 9/26/2024 at approximately 1453 hours, I conducted a traffic stop on a gray Buick Sentry at the intersection on South Main and West Clark Street. The driver was arrested for a Suspended Driving Status. Montrell Latrez Love, 47, was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released for Driving While
Suspended he was also cited for improper turn.
On 9/26/2024 at 1531 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of West Mill Street in reference to an animal bite. The male victim did not want to press charges and denied EMS. The female subject that owned the dog requested for the male subject to be trespassed.
On 9/26/2024 at approximately 1726 hours, Officers was dispatched to a burglary at
434 E Gay Street. Jessica Blevens reported that a female subject had entered her residence, was eating their food, going through their property, she forced the female subject out of her house, and she was now in the back yard. Officers located the female suspect near 429 E Market Street. Heather Lea Nyhart, 43, was arrested and
placed in the Johnson County Jail for a 24 hour hold for Burglary.
On 9/6/2024 at 2047 hours, Anita Calvert reported a fight near 615 West Clark Street. A male and female subject involved were contacted in the 500 Block of West Clark Street. They were arrested and transported to the Warrensburg Police department. Tyra Cer'Nyeshia Goude, 24, was processed and released for obstructing law enforcement by interfering with an arrest. Cleven Otis Arnold Jr., 30 was processed for Obstructing Law Enforcement by failing to identify and an outstanding felony out of state warrant. He was transported to the Johnson County Jail for the warrant.
On 9/27/2024 at approximately 0729 hours, Officers were contacted by the Johnson County Juvenile Office regarding a juvenile with an active pick-up order. The
juvenile was located at the Warrensburg High School at 1411 South Ridgeview
Drive and was placed under arrest and transported to the Juvenile Office.
On 9/27/2024, at approximately 0855 hours, Brandon Figg, the Warrensburg Middle School Assistant Principal, reported that a known juvenile assaulted another juvenile in class at approximately 0810 hours. A juvenile referral will be completed.
On 09/2724 at 1126 hours, a male subject reported property damage and theft at 1811 Villa Drive. The male subject stated that a known male subject stole his Mac Book Pro and damaged several items in the residence. Investigation ongoing.
On 09/27/24 at approximately 1239 hours, Officers took a theft report by phone,
reported by Andon Allen. Andon reported that his fraternity sign was stolen from the 300 block of South Holden Street on 09/19/24 between the hours of 1200 to 1400 hours. Investigation ongoing.
On 09/27/24 at approximately 1248 hours, Officers were dispatched to the 500 block
of Grover Street in reference to a public service call reported by a juvenile. Upon arrival, the juvenile reported that a known female subject was having issues with his electronic devices and believed he was the cause for her being hacked. Tifany Sarver, 41, was arrested for an active warrant though Lee's Summit PD on charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Maintaining Financial Responsibility and Expired Plates and released on ROR bond.
On 9/27/2024 at 2210 hours, Officers were dispatched to a at 355 E Russell Street in reference to a male subject stealing items from the lobby. Ricardo Adam Abad, 54, was arrested for Shoplifting and transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released with a city summons. Abad also had a warrant from the KC Police Department on a charge of Assault with a bond of $350 cash or surety.
On 9/28/24 at approximately 0231 hours, I was dispatched to the 100 block of West Pine Street for a report of an assault. Upon arrival, a male subject was arrested for assault. Lance Matthew Krause, 52, was transported to the Warrensburg Police
Department, processed then placed at the Johnson County Jail on a 24 hour
hold.
On 9/28/24 at 0835 hours, Officers arrested a male in the 300 block of 9th Street. The subject had a failure to appear warrant from Pettis County on original charges of Speeding (20-25) MPH. Marselino Iowan, 32, was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed, posted a cash bond and was released with a new court date.
On 09/28/24 at 1046 hours, Officers were dispatched to 1112 Zoll Street in reference to a disturbance. Innetta Collins reported a known female subject would not leave her residence. I contacted the female subject and asked her to step outside multiple times. She refused to do so and was arrested for failing to obey a lawful order. Iquetta Bernice Gaines, 30, was transported to the WPD processed and released.
On 9/28/24 at 1134 hours, Officers responded to "drunk male subject yelling and screaming with alcohol in his hands" at Shepard's Park, 609 North College Street. Officers contacted a male subject in the 100 Block of Vamo Road and arrested him for open container. Derrick Wayne Roar, 44, was transported to the Warrensburg Police Department booked and released.
On 09/28/2024 at 2209 hours, Warrensburg Officers assisted the Missouri State Highway Patrol with a pursuit on 50 HWY. A Warrensburg Officer utilized spike strips to assist with disabling the vehicle.
On 09/29/2024 at 0439 hours, Officers were dispatched to 215 McGoodwin Street in reference to a domestic disturbance. Nicholas Moege reported he was assaulted by a known male subject. Steven J. Hodge, 53, was subsequently arrested for Domestic Assault, he was booked and released on scene with a citation.
On 9/29/2024 at 0550 hours, Officers conducted a traffic stop on a black Ford F15 in the 200 block of Young St. Darius W. Dossinger, 49, was arrested for his outstanding Warrensburg warrant. The warrant was issued from and was placed in the Johnson County Jail in lieu of bond.
On Sunday 9/29/2024 at 1156 hours I responded to a grocery store at 410 East Young
Street regarding a theft report. The store manager reported a felony shoplifting from Friday 9/27/2024 between 1951 and 1955 hours. Investigation ongoing.
On 9/29/24 at 1605 hours, Officers took a report of a shoplifting from a retail store at 301 East Cooper Boulevard that occurred on 9/10/24 at 1122 hours. Two male subjects were later located and arrested for city ordinance shoplifting. Both male subject were transported to the Warrensburg Police Department, processed and released.
On 09/29/24 at approximately 1542 hours, Officers were dispatched to a retail store at
301 East Cooper Boulevard in reference to a detained shoplifter reported by Asset
Protection. Upon arrival, Tracie Lynn Karigan, 47, was arrested for Shoplifting and
issued summons.
On 09/29/2024 at 1855 hours, I was dispatched to the Warrensburg Police Department at 102-B S Holden Street in reference to a theft report. Isaak Rasche reported that his license plate was stolen off the front of his truck sometime between 09/22/2024 and 09/29/2024 at 703 South Warren Street. Investigation ongoing.
On 09/25/2024, at approximately 1713 hours, Officers responded to 301 East Cooper Boulevard in regards to a juvenile that was detained for shoplifting by Walmart Asset Protection. The juvenile was interviewed on scene and released to his grand parents. The case will be sent to the juvenile office for review.
On 9/26/2024 at approximately 0830 hours, Dr. Holly Jennings, the Warrensburg Middle School Principal, reported that she received concerning information about a juvenile and requested a well check due to the juvenile not being in school. The juvenile and parent were located at their residence. The parent stated they had an appointment for the juvenile.
