Warrensburg Woman Injured in Tuesday Morning Wreck

A 24-year old Warrensburg woman was injured in a motorcycle accident early Tuesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 5:45, on MO-23 at Southeast Route DD in Johnson County.

According to the online crash report, the driver of a 2014 Honda motorcycle was unable to avoid a deer that ran in front of the bike. The crash caused the driver to be ejected.

The driver, 24-year old Nikki M. Furnari, suffered minor injuries in the wreck. She was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

The crash report indicates the Honda motorcycle sustained moderate damage.
