Warsaw Girl Injured After Truck Strikes Tree

A 17-year-old girl was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred in Benton County Tuesday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that Lydia F. Eckhoff of Warsaw was the driver of an eastbound 1997 Ford F-250 on Route H, north of Edmondson Access at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning, when the truck slid off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

Eckhoff suffered minor injuries and was treated roadside.

The Ford had extensive damage and was towed from the scene.

Benton County deputies assisted the Patrol at the scene.
