Waverly Couple Injured in JoCo Wreck
A Waverly couple were injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred early Friday morning in Johnson County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a northbound 2017 Nissan driven by 41-year-old Jerimi D. Worley of Waverly, was on NW Missouri 13 at NE 1150 Road around 12:45 a.m., when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a ditch.
Jerimi suffered minor injuries, while his passenger, 43-year-old Jennifer D. Worley of Waverly suffered moderate injuries. Both were transported to Western Missouri Medical Center by JCAD for treatment. Neither were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the report.
The Nissan had extensive damage and was towed from the scene.
Johnson County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
