Tomorrow (Wednesday) is Senior Day at the 2022 Missouri State Fair.

The day starts at 9 a.m., at the Mathewson Exhibition Center with vendor exhibits and booths on the Exhibition arena floor, followed by Bingo at 10 a.m., and line dancing lessons at 11:30 a.m.

Special guests will include: Ms. Missouri Senior America 2022 Joyce Graham; Paula Nickelson, acting director of the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services; Jake Luebbering, deputy director of the Division of Senior and Disability Services; and Lana Johnson, president of the Missouri Association of Area Agencies in Aging.

There will also be a dance contest with five categories: Missouri Waltz, Polka, Jitterbug, Two-Step and Line Dancing.

You may register for the dance contest from 9 a.m., to 12:30 p.m.

Prizes for each category are $100 for first place, $75 for second and $50 for third.

Senior Day is sponsored by “ma4” and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.

The 2022 Missouri State Fair runs through Aug. 21.
