Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed the small watermelons and grapes the stores are stocking now?

A few years ago big watermelons and globe grapes were everywhere, as were those big South African black grapes that had such good taste. I can't believe the only thing available now are the watermelons half the size, and twice the price they were last year.

Grapes the size of your small finger tip seem to fill the vegetable bins now, and they are not as sweet as those mentioned above. With all the grocery stores we have in Sedalia, you would think at least one of them would bring in those big melons and large sweet grapes.

Please don't suggest the farmer's market, or other so-called "home grown" vendors. I would have to take out a loan to afford those supposed bargains. Come on grocers, cater to your customers.
