Whiteman Wreath Ceremony

The annual Whiteman Wreath Laying Ceremony will take place Saturday, May 19 in Sedalia.

The ceremony honors 2nd Lt. George A. Whiteman, who lost his life during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor in World War II.

A press release from the Sedalia Area Chamber of Commerce says the ceremony will begin at 11:00 a.m. in Memorial Park Cemetery, located at 3306 Greenridge Road.

The public is welcome to attend.
