Wilma Henrietta Viets, 78, of Cole Camp, died Friday, April 5, 2013, at Good Samaritan Care Center, Cole Camp.  She was born on January 20, 1935, on a farm near Lincoln, Missouri, a daughter of Herman and Bertha (Richter) Schroeder.   She was baptized at home on January 20, 1935.  Her baptismal sponsors were Lydia Eckhoff, Hilda Salmons, and Frieda Wittrock.  She was confirmed on April 10, 1949, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, north of Lincoln.   On July 7, 1957, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, north Lincoln, Missouri, by Pastor Beck, she was united in marriage to Elroy Emil Viets, who preceded her in death on August 3, 2007.  This union was blessed with three children:  Denise, Duane, and Doris.   She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Cole Camp, where she belonged to the ladies aid.  She was a homemaker and helped her husband on the farm.  For ten years, she enjoyed babysitting for her neighbors.  She loved to visit with family and friends.   She is survived by: two daughters, Denise Dove and her husband John of Green Ridge and Doris Viets of Cole Camp; one son, Duane Viets of Cole Camp; and one grandson, Landon Dove of Green Ridge.   She was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Bertha Schroeder, one sister, Dorothy Harms, and three brothers, Harold Schroeder, Melvin Schroeder, and an infant brother.   Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Cole Camp, with  Pastor Michael Boothby officiating.  Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, rural Cole Camp.   A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 at the church with visitation to follow.   In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to St. John's Lutheran Church or Our Savior Radio Ministry in care of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.   Pallbearers will be Tom Schroeder, Kent Schroeder, Harlan Schroeder, Garry Harms, Mark Chamberlin, Charlie Cordes, and Roger Bennett.
