Windsor Teenager Injured in Vehicle Rollover

A 17-year old Windsor resident was injured Sunday afternoon when her vehicle overturned in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the wreck at approximately 3:15, at Highway F and SW 1000 Road.

According to the online crash report, a Chevy Sonic failed to negotiate a curve, causing the vehicle to travel off the road, overturn and strike a fence.

The driver, 17-year old Shelby L. Wade, suffered minor injuries in the accident. Wade was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center for treatment.

The Chevy sustained extensive damage and was towed from the scene. The report indicates Wade was wearing a safety device.
