Woman Injured After Vehicle Strikes Deer in Benton County
A 53-year old woman from Lowry City suffered minor injuries Tuesday afternoon when her vehicle collided with a deer in Benton County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the accident at 1:25, in the 30000 block of West Dam Access Road.
According to the online crash report, a southbound 2000 Pontiac collided with a deer, when the animal ran in front of the vehicle.
The driver, 53-year old Dawn M. Crawford, suffered minor injuries in the accident. Crawford was taken to Golden Valley Medical Center for treatment.
The crash report indicates the Pontiac was totaled.
