Dugan's Paint and Flooring has been doing an annual fundraiser for a few years now called "Decorate for a Cure".  It's always a huge affair, with plenty of food, wonderful vendors, and a speaker to give you some education about design.  This year they're bringing in Shaw's Director of Design, Emily Morrow.  Emily Morrow, the Director of Color, Style & Design at Shaw Floors, is an industry leader. When she’s not at Shaw, she spends her time teaching people how to incorporate great design into their lives.

I got to talk with Chuck Kempton and Tigger Paul, who have worked to organize this year's Decorate for a Cure, about the event.

So please, help Dugan's help Bothwell help our family, friends and neighbors. Just five dollars will go a long way to help, and you know this money will stay local to help people in our area. One in eight women will develop breast cancer in their lifetime. These women deserve the very best technology possible to help diagnose their breast cancer at the earliest possible stage. That why the Bothwell Regional Health Center Foundation is raising funds to bring 3D digital breast mammography, or tomosynthesis, to this area. This process can detect tumors too small to be seen with traditional mammography and reduces the possibility of call-backs for additional testing because of “suspicious” areas or false positives. The new technology will replace the current mammography equipment at the Bothwell Diagnostic Center. So don't miss out, the Dugan's Paint and Flooring Decorate for a Cure will be Thursday the 9th at 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the store, 3103 Erika Avenue. To RSVP or get more information, call 826-0142. You can find out more about Dugan's by visiting their website and you can find the event on Facebook.

Decoratingly yours,
