If any of you have driven on Limit Ave recently, you may notice that there hasn't been too much traffic going in and out of the Hardee's location there.  In fact the sign is missing. It was a destination for me on several occasions, as they often had breakfast deals that I liked, and on occasion, they were opened before my air shift at 6am.

That location has permanently closed their doors. However if you like their breakfasts, burgers, or chicken options, the location on Broadway will still be open.

According to my colleague Randy, he has a friend who worked there, and Monday morning they were called to a "maintenance meeting" and were told they were closing their doors forever.  Always tough to hear about people losing their job through no fault of their own.  I wonder if any of them will transfer to their location on Broadway.

I have to give Randy credit for this information, as Hardee's are apparently owned by a company called Capstone Restaurant Group.  Here was the info that he found:

Capstone has 270 restaurants scattered over 16 states, and they include Carl's Jr. and Hardee's.  When is comes to focusing on these 260 locations, they started at 40 locations, and have grown to as many as they have.  I can only speculate that this location was not generating the sales that they had hoped.

I have never had an issue with this location.  Perhaps some of you have.  The chain as a rule, does try and make most of their food to order, so the drive-thru does tend to be a little slower.  I happen to enjoy their burgers and the breakfast sandwiches were tasty.  Since this location will be closed, will another fast food chain come in and take it over? I still vote for a Raising Cane's and you can read why HERE.

Good luck to the employees of this location.  Will any of you take advantages of the coupons that came in the mail and go to the Broadway location? What was your experience with this location? Share your thoughts.
