A Sedalia man recently won $50,000.00 in the Powerball game.

According to a press release from the Missouri Lottery, 39-year old, Jamey Meyer matched four white balls and the Powerball in the July 27th Missouri Lottery Powerball drawing to win a $50,000 prize. Meyer purchased his winning ticket from Temp-Stop, located at 4575 South Limit in Sedalia, and he claimed his prize at Lottery Headquarters in Jefferson City on August 22nd.

The numbers drawn in the July 27 Powerball drawing were:  10, 47, 50, 65 and 68 with a Powerball of 24.
