A Teenager was Injured in a Benton County Accident Saturday Afternoon

The Missouri State Highway patrol reported a one-vehicle accident Saturday afternoon, in Benton County, that injured a 13-year old.

The accident occurred just after 4:00, on Fair view Drive, just west of Caribou Drive.

A 2000 Polaris Scrambler traveled off the right side of the road and struck an embankment. The driver was ejected, as the Polaris overturned down the embankment.

13-year old Logan E. Crippen, of Excelsior Springs, MO, suffered moderate injuries in the accident. He was taken to Golden Valley Medical Center, by Warsaw-Lincoln EMS, for treatment.
