Disturbance Tuesday night results in arrest for a Sedalia woman

At 8:45 Tuesday night Sedalia police were dispatched to a disturbance in the 300 b lock of East Chestnut. Upon arrival officers found 37-year-old Julia Lefevers, who was reportedly intoxicated. The police report states Lefevers slapped a paramedic, who had been called to treat her, and kicked officers as they were arresting her. Lefevers was transported to the Pettis County Jail, and eventually to a Columbia Hospital for evaluation. Charges are being sought according to the police report.

Subject check on a Sedalia man reveals he is in possession of marijuana

Around 3 o’clock this (Wednesday) morning Sedalia police conducted a subject check on a man walking in the area of 2nd and Washington. During an investigation the subject identified as 19-year-old Dominique Wilson of Sedalia, he was found to be in passion of marijuana. Wilson was arrested and taken to the Pettis County jail, where he was booked and released pending state charges.

Property damage complaint filed by a victim in the area of 3rd and Massachusetts

Just before 3 o’clock this (Wednesday) morning a victim in the area of 3rd and Massachusetts reported her vehicle was damaged sometime overnight. The vehicle was parked outside the victim’s residence at the time of the damage according to the police report. There were no suspects, and an estimate of the damage was not available at news time.

Missouri State highway Patrol Accident reports

Just after 9 o’clock Tuesday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a motorcycle accident, that occurred on Route “B” a mile North of Mount Hulda in Benton County.  The report states the accident happened as the driver of a 1999 Kawasaki Motorcycle, 33-year-old Bradley Luetjen of Ionia struck a deer, that ran into the roadway. After the impact the motorcycle and riders slid into a ditch. Both Luetjen, and his passenger, 29-year-old Nikki Bale of Cole Camp received serious injuries, and were transported by Life Flight eagle to the hospital for treatment. Charges are pending according to the report.

At 8:19 Tuesday night the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle injury accident, on Route “BB” Just East of Route Double “0” in Benton County. The accident occurred according to the report as the driver of a 1997 Jeep, 63-year-old Susi Hale of Warsaw drove off the roadway, and struck an embankment, coming to rest in a ditch.  Hale received moderate injuries in the accident, and was transported by ambulance to Bothwell regional Health Center for treatment.

At 3:15 Tuesday morning The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a one-vehicle accident in Johnson County on Missouri “131” at Northwest 50th Road. The accident reportedly happened when the driver of a 1999 Dodge Dakota, 23-year-old Jennifer Swigert of Harrisonville fell asleep, crossed over the centerline, ran off the roadway, and struck a fence. Swigert was wearing her seatbelt, and received minor injuries. She was taken to Centerpoint Hospital, by EMS for treatment. Charges are pending according to the report.
