Abid of Warrensburg were arraigned in Johnson County Associate Circuit Court this afternoon on first degree murder and armed criminal action charges in connection with the shooting of William “Blaine” Whitworth in Warrensburg on September 2. Vehicle Fire Closes All Lanes of I-70
Both eastbound and westbound lanes lanes of Interstate 70 were closed early Tuesday morning due to a vehicle fire near mile marker 115 and the Missouri river bridge. According to KOMU, emergency crews responded to the fire around 9:00 a.m. on the eastbound lanes of the bridge. ABC 17 reports that a semi-truck and a car were involved in the accident.
