Authorities Searching for Car Thief

On Friday night, Sept. 27, Pettis County deputies took a report from Denise L. Grotzinger, who said her 2010 Chevy Impala was stolen from the 5800 block of South Limit.

The vehicle was later involved in a pursuit with the Sedalia Police Department. The vehicle then wrecked in the 5800 block of South Limit, where the driver ran from a Pettis County deputy as he was located after being involved in a traffic accident.

The suspect was described as a young white male with brown curly hair, wearing a red shirt and black shorts.
