One of the best parts of the job I have is interacting with people.  Hearing what they have to say, reading what they think, and sharing my own stories.  That's part of what our daily Enquiring Minds surveys are about..... they're also about excuses to get you free stuff. I mean, really, that's a big part of it.  You like free stuff, I like free stuff, and you can get free stuff OF YOUR CHOOSING by getting these points in the surveys.  So anyway, here's a little bit of what you had to say this week.

On Monday, I asked you about the sleep you get.  Do you think you get enough sleep?  Do you do something to help you wind down when you can't sleep?

Most of the time i feel like I get enough with about 5 1/2 hours. Trouble sleeping I start playing with my phone and usually pass out within minutes

See, I need more than that. Sometimes I need as much as nine, but most of the time I'm okay with seven hours.

I usually get six hours a night (not counting time getting up to pee!) It seems to be enough for me. If I have trouble sleeping, reading the newspaper usually does the trick! I never was a napper.

Reading seems to be a popular way to calm down. I don't know if that would work for me, my imagination works too frantically, I guess.

I get enough sleep. Sometimes I think I get to much sleep. I get anywhere from 4-6 hours of sleep. Trouble sleeping...I get up and do whatever until I get sleepy again.

I don't know, sometimes I feel like I've gotten too much sleep, too. Like on a weekend, when I'll sleep in for a while and then when I start to wake up, it's like I'm more tired than I was when I went to bed!

On Tuesday, I asked you guys about the various vitamins or supplements out there, specifically a new one that takes the good from grapes and red wine and puts it in a vitamin, Resveratrol. If you take any of them.... and if so, to help with what?

I take a pre-natal vitamin, not because I'm pregnant (I'm 60+) but for my hair and nails and it works!
I probably will check out the Resveratrol since I am getting up there in age and Alzheimer's/dementia scares the hell out of me!

Oooh, I never thought about the pre-natal route. Maybe that'll help me actually have fingernails for once.

I take vitamins and drink protein shakes

Boyfriendo drinks a shake every morning. He says it helps his energy.

Don't take any vitamins or anything that I really don't have to take. Just don't like taking meds.

I don't like swallowing them sometimes. This morning I got a bit of Benadryl stuck in my throat. The worst!

1). Yes
2). For better health and overall functionability.
3).Yes. It's known by the American Medical Association as a chemical compound responsible for better heart health. It's also referenced as "Wine" in the Bible over 100 times. If Jesus likes it better than water, it must be good for you :-).

HA! There you go, perfect.

On Wednesday, I talked about a new study that says if couples watch romantic comedies together and then talk about them afterward, they're less likely to divorce. So that made me think.... what are your favorite romantic comedies?

Sabrina
The Truth about Cats and Dogs
The American President
How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days

I haven't thought about The Truth About Cats and Dogs for YEARS. That movie was so cute!

Hope Floats!!!!

I haven't seen that one. Isn't that the one with Harry Connick Jr and Sandra Bullock? I might have to check that one out.

Predator, Alien, Aliens, As Good As It Gets

...................... As long as your romantic movie isn't Predator 2, I guess you're doing alright.

Then, on Thursday, I asked you again about loooooove. Apparently about 76% of us believe that there's someone out there for everybody... soul mates, if you will. What do you make of all this? Do you believe in soulmates? Have you met the person you’d call your soulmate? If you have, tell us the story about when you knew they were The One.

Yes this is an ideal to many individuals to have "the soulmate". As for my soulmate relationship was developed over time and not something that just happened at first sight or overnight. It has developed over the years into that of a soulmate relationship.

I think that's the way it is for me.  My first date with Boyfriendo was pretty good, but I wasn't falling over myself because I was struck with THE MESSAGE.

I would like to believe in a soulmate... and there is one person for each of us.

See, now that sounds a little skeptical to me. You'd "like" to believe it. I hope you haven't been burned by relationships. There is hope!

ANYWAY, that'll do it for us this week. But, I'll have a bunch of brand new ones next week, so come back and take some more surveys. Make sure you go back and take any of the other surveys you may have missed and you'll get points to win prizes!

Curiously yours,
Behka
