Benefit for Injured Pettis County Deputies Planned
A benefit concert will be held at Sedalia Moose Lodge 1494 on Friday, June 6 from 4 to 8 p.m., at 119 Winchester Drive.
The event is a fund-raiser for injured Pettis County Sheriff’s Deputies DeHaven and Brown and their families, it was noted.
A concert from 6 to 8 p.m., will feature Trevon Dawson and the Cedar Creek Band.
There will also be a 50/50 drawing, a bake sale, prize drawings and an Italian dinner by Local Eats and Sweets available that night.
Tickets are $10 each.
According to co-organizer Jennifer Shewmaker, “we will be collecting raffle items over the next three weeks. I know I have a bunch of generous friends who will donate toward this. If you feel led, please contact me and I'll pick up your donation, or you can drop off to me when you see me,” she said.
