The Blast From Sedalia Radio Past continues on this week. 16-years-ago, in 1999, I was hired by Paul Aberli to do weekends on what was then Today's Best Hits FM 92, Today's Best Country KIX 105 and Sedalia's Voice, Sedalia's Choice KSIS. Paul Aberli was the morning show host on Today's Best Hits FM 92 from 1998 until 2001, he was also the host of the KIX 105 Midday Madness and was the program director.

Paul moved onto the Hannibal/Quincy markets where he is now with WTAD-AM, where he and Sean Secrease (who was the sports director that first brought me to Smith-Cotton Football) work together on a political talk show and he's also on WQCY.

Paul had such a great laugh to get things going in the morning and it was always a delight when he'd work in the word shinanagins into the show and always brought a bit where the weird and crazy news of the day would come.

Paul's photos still are around our station and I thought I'd bring this one to light that is now on our wall of memories that also features some other familiar faces, Dennis Polk, Cosmo and Mike Jenkins in front of the Missouri State Fair in 1998.
