The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri is now selling tickets to the 29th annual An Evening of Heart & Hope, presented by the W-K Family of Dealerships.

Proceeds from the event will go toward general operating costs of the Club, which serves more than 1,000 local children at 12 Club Sites.

“We’re so excited to bring the auction back to the Missouri Electric Co-Op Building this year, which means we’re able to have more guests and room to grow,” said Special Events Director Andrea Smith. “We’re changing quite a few things this year, including bringing in Tony B’s Dueling Pianos for entertainment.”

Other new highlights include tasting stations with beer pairings, courtesy of County Distributing, new games and raffles and expanded silent auction packages.

“Our Auction Committee has been working hard for the last few months to put together baskets and packages that will appeal to everyone, from family adventures to date night surprises,” Smith said. “Keep an eye on our Boy & Girls Club Facebook page for all the updates and details.”

An Evening of Heart & Hope will take place Feb. 9 at the Missouri Electric Co-Op Building on the Missouri State Fairgrounds. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased online at www.bgckids.com, at the W-K Family of Dealerships or the Sedalia Democrat. For more information call 826-8331.
