The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri is inviting the public out for an evening of entertainment during the inaugural Rising Stars Talent Show, presented by Bryant Motors.

Eleven acts of talented Boys & Girls Club members will take the stage April 28 in the hopes to be crowned the winner. The event will also feature dinner, family-friendly games and activities, a basket auction and more.

“We are excited to be able to offer this new event for area families,” said Communications Coordinator Emily Jarrett. “Our talent acts are working very hard practicing for the big day and it promises to be a great evening for everyone.”

In addition to naming a first, second and third place winner, the talent show will also feature a People’s Choice Award, where, for $1 per vote, those in attendance can vote for their favorite act.

The Rising Stars Talent Show presented by Bryant Motors will begin at 5 p.m. April 28 at the Smith-Cotton Junior High School FEMA building. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for those age 6 to 12, and free for those 5 and under. Tickets are available for purchase at Club sites, Bryant Motors or at the door.
