The Boys & Girls Clubs of West Central Missouri will once again host National Night Out, a nation-wide event created to bring communities and local first responders together to make neighborhoods safer and better places to live.

On Aug. 2, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Parkview elementary School, the Boys & Girls Club invites all Club members, their families and the Sedalia area community to take part in this family-friendly event that will feature a carnival, robotics demonstration and food.

The Sedalia Police Department and Sedalia Fire Department will also be in attendance, bringing police cars and fire trucks out for children to explore.

The event is free, though there is a minimal charge for hot dogs and nachos with proceeds benefitting the Boys & Girls Club’s Torch Store (teen service group.)
