BRANSON, MISSOURI (August 21, 2014) – Branson Airport (BKG) is pleased to announce the continuation of nonstop, low fare service to Chicago and Houston.  One way tickets can be purchased to both Chicago (Midway) and Houston (Hobby) starting at $99.00* each way including taxes.

The new flights will run from October 25th, 2014 – December 7th, 2014 and from March 10th - May 27th, 2015.  The service later this year will be provided by Branson AirExpress operated by Elite Airways and Buzz Airways will return to Branson on March 10th to provide service during the busy spring season.  Buzz first came to Branson this summer to replace the flights that had been operated by Southwest Airlines.  The flight schedules have been designed to allow customers to book separate tickets on Southwest Airlines to other popular gateways that connect to and from Chicago and Houston.

“We’ve received a great response to our low fares and friendly service,” stated Matt Chaifetz, Chief Commercial Officer of Buzz Airways.  “The performance of our flights to and from Branson has exceeded our expectations and we look forward to returning next year.”

“We have been intrigued by the opportunity in Branson and are pleased to be providing service this fall.  We believe operating the Chicago and Houston service with our 50 seat regional jet will provide a wonderful service to area residences and tourists looking to visit Branson,” stated John Pearsall President of Elite Airways.  “We will be also working with Branson AirExpress to offer flights between Melbourne, FL and Washington D.C.,” said Pearsall.
