S-C’s Wilson to Play Soccer at SFCC
Smith-Cotton High School senior Brock Wilson has accepted an athletic scholarship to
play soccer at State Fair Community College in Sedalia.
Wilson, the son of Brandy and Ben Wilson, was a three-year varsity starter for the Tigers, racking up 40 points on 15 goals and 10 assists. He was team captain his senior year and earned All-Conference recognition once, All-District twice and All-Region once.
S-C Boys Soccer Head Coach Ethan Weller said, “Brock is a hard-working kid who
continued to grow from his sophomore year to senior year. He was often our vocal and
emotional leader throughout the last three seasons. I'm excited to see him continue to
play the game at the college level and can't wait to see him take the next step in his
development."
