Kehoes Provide School Supplies to Whittier Alternative School

Last Tuesday afternoon, Missouri Gov. Mike Kehoe and First Lady Claudia Kehoe visited Whittier High School to drop off school supplies as part of the governor's "Mansion on a Mission" program.

Current and former Whittier students, along with Sedalia 200 administrators and Whitter staff members, helped unload large totes and bags stuffed with school supplies. The governor and first lady chatted with Whittier staff and students about educational experiences and successes at Sedalia 200's alternative high school.

According to Mrs. Kehoe's website, "Mansion on a Mission is a community-based initiative dedicated to serving Missourians. In partnership with the Missouri Governor’s Mansion, the First Family leads efforts to provide resources and support to those in need of a helping hand. We are committed to strengthening communities and enhancing the well-being of Missourians across the state through compassion and service."
