Three people were injured in a one-vehicle crash that occurred Monday night in Boone County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that an eastbound 2020 Ford Fusion, driven by a 35-year-old woman from California, was on Route Y, near Clinkenbeard Road (east of Ashland) just after 10 p.m., when the Fusion traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail, returned to the roadway and overturned on its left side, coming to rest and blocking the eastbound lane of Route Y.

The woman suffered moderate injuries, while her passengers, a 56-year-old male from Ashland had serious injuries, and a 12-year-old girl from California had minor injuries. All were transported to University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia for treatment.

The 12-year-old girl was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash, while the adults were not, according to the report.

The Ford Fusion was totaled and towed from the scene by I-70 Towing.

35-year-old Ashley N. Rohbach of California was later arrested by the Patrol at 10:46 p.m. She now faces charges of driving while intoxicated causing serious physical injuries, and failure to maintain the right half of the roadway.
