Carrollton Residents Injured After Car Hydroplanes & Flips
A woman and a young boy suffered minor injuries Tuesday morning in a rollover accident that occurred in Pettis County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2012 Chevy Cruze, driven by 28-year-old Joylynn D. Allard of Carrollton, was on US 65, south of John Road (near Turkey Creek), at 7:21 a.m., when the vehicle hydroplaned, traveled off the right side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned on its top, facing north.
Allard and a six-year-old boy were transported by PCAD to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment. Both were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
The Chevy had extensive damage and was towed by Don's Truck Towing.
Pettis County deputies and firefighters assisted the Patrol at the scene.
