Another beautiful day ahead as we creep closer to the first day of Spring. A little over two weeks of winter is left on the calendar.

Mild but breezy conditions are expected this weekend. Today expect partly sunny skies with highs in the mid 40s to mid 50s with temperatures warming into the 60s for Saturday and Sunday.

There could be a few snowflakes flying around Thursday night, but no impacts or accumulation is expected. Warming temperatures then expected for the upcoming weekend. Next chance for rain comes Monday.

Since we're only a few weeks from Daylight Savings Time, we know that Spring will be right around the corner. Don't worry though...there's still plenty of winter weather to last us until then.

Yeah, somebody let the back door open last night, and Mr. "Chances of Snow Flurries" slipped in.

The good news? No snow in the forecast. The bad news? None, really...just some colder temps or should we say average stuff for this time of year.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory including the Sedalia area from 6 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 12 until midnight, Wednesday night.
