Funeral Announcements for April 27, 2026

A Celebration of Life for Richard D. Miller, 63, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 27 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the chapel. Burial will be at Potter Cemetery at a later date.

A celebration of life for Rochelle "Chelle" Lynn Simmons, 54, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 1 at LifePointe Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A Celebration of Life for Curtis Dale Miller, 73, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 6 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Inurnment will be held at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville. Full military honors will be conducted by the United States Army and Sedalia VFW Post #2591.

Prayers of the Rosary for Marguerite “Peggy” McNamara Pabst, 98, of Sedalia, will begin at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, May 2 at St. Vincent de Paul Sacred Heart Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. A luncheon will be held at the parish hall after the burial. Arrangements are in the care of Heckart Funeral Home.

The family of Debra Lynn Wilken, 66, of Cole Camp, will receive friends beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 29, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cole Camp where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Highland Sacred Gardens in Sedalia. Arrangements are in care of Fox Funeral Home.

The family of Robert Louis “Bob” Larsen, 88, of Sedalia, will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 29 at Heckart Funeral Home, where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m.

No formal services are planned at this time for Marvin Eugene Smith, 94, of Sedalia. Cremation arrangements are under the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A celebration of life for Timothy M. Thomlinson, 66, of Sedalia,  will be held on Saturday, May 2 at 12 p.m. at Katy Park. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
