Funeral Announcements for February 23, 2026

A celebration of life for Ricky Dean Lewis, 68, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at Rea Funeral Chapel. A private family burial will be held at Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery at a later date.

The family of James Franklin “Jim” Zumsteg, 86, of Otterville, will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at First Baptist Church of Otterville, concluding with a 40 & 8 service. The memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Otterville. Arrangements are in care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home.

Visitation for Marilyn Leola (McGinley) Peterman, 82, of Kansas City, formally of Sedalia, will be held at 1 p.m., on Monday, Feb. 23 at the Heckart Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home with burial to follow at Crown Hill Cemetery.

A family memorial service will be held at a later date for Ruth Louise Griswold, 89, of Overland Park, Kan. Arrangements by Heckart Funeral Home.
