Funeral Announcements for February 27, 2026

A celebration of life for Ricky Dean Lewis, 68, of Sedalia, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at Rea Funeral Chapel. A private family burial will be held at Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery at a later date.

The family of James Franklin “Jim” Zumsteg, 86, of Otterville, will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 at First Baptist Church of Otterville, concluding with a 40 & 8 service. The memorial service will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Otterville. Arrangements are in care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home.

Funeral service for Vaneeta Louise Rehmer, 69, of Cole Camp will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 27 at Fox Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Cemetery in Cole Camp.

The family of Margie Louise Amos, 83, of Sedalia, will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, March 6 at Heckart Funeral Home, where a funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Highland Sacred Gardens.

Funeral service for Roger Wayne Donnell, 71, of Gladstone,  will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 in the old Gymnasium at Benton County R-1 School.  Burial will be in Cole Camp Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time on Saturday at the school. Arrangements in care of Fox Funeral Home.

A memorial service for Jace Jamison Zembsch, 12, of Whiteman Air Force Base, will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, March 2 at Rea Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral chapel.

The family will host a Celebration of Life at a later date for Patricia Lou "Pat" Nicholson, 87, of Sedalia. Arrangements are under the direction of Rea Funeral Chapel.

A Celebration of Life for Gary S. Bennett, Sr., 70, of Sedalia, will be held at 12 p.m. Saturday, March 21 at the Heckart Family Center, 915 S. Ohio Ave., Sedalia.
