Centerview Man Charged in Warrensburg Bank Robbery

A 60-year-old Centerview man has been arrested and charged in connection with an August robbery at UMB Bank on North Maguire Street in Warrensburg.

The Daily Star Journal reports Danny D. Kinnison Sr. was arrested after authorities received an anonymous tip identifying the suspect as Kinnison. Physical evidence recovered at the scene also reportedly linked Kinnison to the crime.

Kinnison has been charged with first-degree robbery.

On August 25, a suspect allegedly entered the bank, passed a note to the teller saying he had explosives, and demanded cash. The teller passed the suspect an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
