Chereyl Claylene Gilbert, 62

Cheryl Claylene Gilbert, 62, of Cole Camp, died Sunday, September 2, 2012, at her home.  She was born on December 17, 1949, at Wapella, Iowa, a daughter of Clayborn Sipe and Lorraine Leonard.

She graduated from Polo High School.  She later married Joe Gilbert and this union was blessed with four children:  Marcia, Brian, Stephanie, and Jennifer.

She attended Faith Chapel Pentecostal Church of God in Cole Camp.  She was a homemaker and had worked in medical records at Liberty Hospital and as a doctor's assistant for Dr. Jensen and Dr. Bean in Liberty.

She is survived by:
her mother, Lorraine Sommerfield of the State of Iowa;
three daughters, Marcia Judson of Leavenworth, KS, Stephanie Gilbert of Smithton, and Jennifer Gilbert of Cole Camp;
one son, Brian Gilbert of Cole Camp;
one sister, Susan Schroeder of Leavenworth, KS;
one brother, Ronald Rowe of the State of Iowa;
eight grandchildren, Mandy, Courtney, Taylor, Alex, Emerald, Autumn, Ava, and Alana; and four great-grandchildren, Ali, Riley, Tanner, and Chelbie.

She was preceded in death by her father and step-mother, Clayborn and Margie Sipe.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Fox Funeral Home, Cole Camp.
