I grew up with a mom who used to pack my lunch when I was a child.  Sandwich, chips, piece of fruit, and a snack.  And often, the snack was courtesy of Little Debbie.  Nutty Bars, Tiger Snack Cakes, and Oatmeal Creme Pies.  Well the Christmas holiday was even better.  Because Little Debbie would release the Christmas Tree Cakes and they were delicious. And still are.

Well even though we haven't hit Thanksgiving yet, or Halloween for that matter, there is a lot of Christmas stuff out already.  And if you like ice cream, Christmas has come early for us.  November 1st to be precise.

Little Debbie has created for the holiday season Christmas Tree Cakes Ice Cream.  It will be a Walmart exclusive and it will cost you $2.50 a pint.  The ice cream is described as having “rich vanilla flavor, is loaded with decadent golden cake chunks and swirled with the green sprinkles and red icing that customers know and love.”

I. CAN'T WAIT!

This is the first Little Debbie snack that will be turned into an ice cream.  I can only hope that a Nutty Bar one or perhaps a Swiss Roll version will be available in the future.

Would this be something you would pick up? Or at least try? I am already thinking about the milkshakes that I can make with this stuff.  Or a treat for my family.  Thankfully, no one in my family is lactose intolerant, so this will be the dessert for our Christmas feast.  And probably our Thanksgiving feast too.  Who's with me?
