After a couple of days of making us realize it really is winter, somewhat of a warm up will come our way as we move through another week and towards the weekend.

The week will start of colder than normal with a chance or snow in the late morning into the early afternoon. Low temperatures will bottom out in the single digits to low teens with wind chills in the -8 to 14°F range so it's definitely a heavy coat and gloves day. Temperatures will warm up slightly into the teens and lower 20s, but will drop back down Tuesday with very cold wind chills again. The next winter weather system will move into the area late Tuesday night into Wednesday morning with snow changing to a rain/snow mix, only minor accumulations are expected as of this morning.
