Contract to Improve Route 87 in Cooper & Moniteau Co Approved

The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission recently approved a contract to improve Route 87 in Cooper and Moniteau counties.

MoDOT says in a news release that Microsurfacing Contractors was awarded a contract to micro-surface Route 87 between Boonville and California, after submitting the low bid of $2,308,968 for the 32-mile project.

The project is scheduled to take place during summer 2019.

MoDOT says when an official start date is established, the public will be notified about the project through signs, news releases and social media.
