Convention Hall Closed to Public

Sedalia Parks & Rec issued the following statement on Friday:

"In order to further the health and safety of our citizens and staff, access to Convention Hall in Liberty Park will be limited to staff only until further notice starting at 12 p.m. on Friday, March 20.

All scheduled activities are postponed until further notice.

All park restrooms will be closed starting at 12 p.m. on Friday, March 20 until further notice.

We encourage our patrons to not use park playgrounds, shelters, and other facilities until further notice. Our staff is doing their best to clean and sanitize all equipment & facilities.

The Sedalia Parks & Rec Office can still be reached by calling (660) 826-4930. Online registration is available at https://registration.sedaliaparks.com.

We will be reevaluating these closings as needed. Please continue to view our website and Facebook pages for updates. We will also send out updates through our Textcaster service."
