Council Approves Four-way Stop at 32nd and Clarendon

Sedalia motorists will need to be aware of and get used to a new four-way stop at 32nd and Clarendon.

The Sedalia City Council agreed with a recommendation from the Citizen's Traffic Advisory Committee and approved the installation of four-way stop signs at the southwestern Sedalia intersection Monday night during its regular meeting.

The CTAC recommended the change to due to increased traffic counts, speeding and traffic crashes near the intersection, which was previously a two-way stop, after meeting with area residents.

The vote by the Council was unanimously yes, with all Council members present.
