Downtown Sedalia Decorations in Place at Bothwell Hotel

Workers with W&M Welding & Crane Service were busy Thursday morning attaching Christmas decorations and lights to the seven-story Bothwell Hotel, 4th and Ohio, in downtown Sedalia.

Plans are in place for the annual Thanksgiving night lighting ceremony, scheduled for Nov. 24 starting at 6:30 p.m. The highlight of the event is a spectacular fireworks show timed to music at 7.

The popular show, which draws hundreds to the downtown area, is sponsored by Bothwell Hotel, the downtown merchants and Sedalia Downtown Development. For more information, visit their Facebook page.
