Eat Awesome Tacos That Will Help Farm Some Excellent Karma
Guys, I'll be real here. I don't know much about the E.W. Thompson State School for Special Needs. I know it's been here in Sedalia for a long time, and if my memory is correct, it started off as a school for the deaf?
I did learn it's part of the Missouri Schools for the Severely Disabled (MSSD) program, focused on providing specialized education and support. Which only affirms everything else I've read online, that this school is serving an important need here in Pettis County.
And of course, I'm happy to tell you about any occasion you might have to mine some good karma out there. I mean, I don't know about you, but I'm just an average idiot. I'm not particularly good at finding solutions to problems, I don't have a lot of money, and I don't have a ton of opportunities to help others the way I'd like to.
So of course, when I can tell you about a way to not only do some good in the community, but also eat delicious tacos...why wouldn't I take it?
Okay, So What's Going On?
El Tapatio, here in Sedalia, 3000 S Limit Avenue, is hosting a PTO Fundraiser for the kids of E.W. Thompson coming up this week. This Thursday, between four and eight, they'll donate a portion of every meal to the cause.
Yes, Virginia, you can go and eat delicious tacos to help others. You gotta eat anyway, right? Why not let a portion of the sales of your dinner to go to help the E.W. Thompson school?

And hey, that extra side of queso you get? Every bit helps. Do it for the children. Every chip you dip isn't expanding your waistline, it's helping students prepare for the future.
Oh, and don't forget - you don't have to eat in to help. You can order to go and it'll count. Just call 827-5553.
Tacoingly yours,
Behka
