Enjoy Missouri Wines and Shop In Warrensburg Saturday Afternoon
If you enjoy shopping, as well as trying wines, spirits, and beers made in Missouri, then you don't want to miss Come Sip Shop, Saturday afternoon, April 22, 2023, in downtown Warrensburg.
The concept is simple, you'll visit ten different downtown stores while getting an opportunity to try a variety of wines, spirits, and beers made right here in Missouri. While you sip, you'll also be able to shop and dine in those businesses. In addition to the ten stores you'll visit, there will also be an opportunity to shop (and I'd assume sip) while you browse 20 other stores at the MKI Pavillion.
Let's get to the good stuff, what kind of adult beverages will you be sampling? Wines from St. James Winery located along I-44 in beautiful St. James. Missouri's oldest winery, Stone Hill, in Hermann, will also be pouring samples. While the oldest continuously owned family winery in the United States, Adam Puchta, will be featured at one of the stops. Also offering wines will be Pirtle Winery from Weston and Les Bourgeois from Rocheport.
If spirits are more your thing, Mean Mule Distilling from Kansas City will be offering samples of their 100% organic blue agave-based spirits, while fan-favorite Boulevard Brewing Company will be whetting beer lovers' appetites.
Participants will check in at The Jack Moore Community Room at the Warrensburg Amtrak station. Upon check-in, each participant will get a map of the stops, and a wristband, along with water and snacks. Participants may visit the stops in any order and move along at their own pace. Participants are also encouraged to shop and dine while they explore downtown Warrensburg.
The cost is $25 per person, and the first 150 people to sign up will also receive a souvenir cup. While those under 21 can tag along, only those 21 and up will be able to sample the adult beverages being offered. Tickets will be available at the event or you can purchase them in advance here.
Come Sip Shop is being presented by The Warrensburg Chamber of Commerce and Warrensburg Mainstreet.
