Explosions to Accompany Overpass Construction on North 65
The Pettis County Fire Department said that starting Thursday, there will be some detonation of explosives for the new overpass at Route HH & Highway 65.
The explosions will most likely occur mid-morning.
The explosive team said they will try to notify the Fire Department and give everyone a heads up each time they use detonation to clear an area.
PCFD will then notify Joint Communications so that they can be aware of each blast.
The construction company said they are informing the public to reduce panic and phone calls to 911.
