
Fire Engulfs Missouri Better Bean Plant in Bunceton
There was a large fire that happened at the Missouri Better Bean Plant in Bunceton.
Several firefighter teams started battling the fire around 11:11 this morning (August 29).There was aid from Boonville, Pilot Grove, Jamestown, Prairie Home, Ottervielle, Cooper County, California, Columbia and Titpon.
The Cooper County EMA issued a statement that every residence within a half mile of the Plant was to be evacuated, due to the size of the fire initially. The evacuation order was lifted at 7:55 p.m., however a boil order advisory is in effect.
There were no injuries reported in the incident and it's not known what caused the fire.
