
Six People Injured in Saline County Wreck
Six people suffered injuries, ranging from minor to moderate, Sunday afternoon in a two-vehicle wreck in Saline County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the collision around 3:30, on Highway 41 near 275th Road.
According to the online crash report, a 1994 GMC failed to yield to a 1999 Ford Explorer. The GMC then struck the Ford, and both vehicles traveled off the roadway and into an embankment.
A passenger in the GMC, 7-year old Skylar Rader, of Sweet Springs, suffered minor injuries in the accident. She was taken to I-70 Medical Center for treatment. The driver of the GMC, 16-year old Tate M. Malter, of Marshall, had minor injuries but refused treatment, according to the report.
Four people in the Ford were injured. The driver, 34-year old Kati K. Rader, of Sweet Springs, suffered moderate injuries. She was taken to I-70 Medical Center for treatment. The passengers in the Ford, 6-year old Shayn Rader, 15-year Dakota Ehret, and 40-year old David Ehret, all suffered minor injuries and were taken to I-70 Medical Center for treatment.
