The Alzheimer’s Association will offer free care consultations at the Bothwell Education Center on Friday, August 4, to discuss dementia and Alzheimer’s-related issues.

According to a press release from BRHC, the issues can include how to best handle caregiver stress, questions about diagnosing Alzheimer’s or dementia, resources and services that are available, coping with dementia-related behaviors, and how to best communicate with someone who is suffering from dementia or related illnesses.

The consultations will be conducted by a social worker for one-hour each.

Appointments are required, and can be scheduled by calling 573-443-8665.

The Bothwell Education Center is located at 600 E. 14th Street.
